Character & Style

Rkatsiteli is one of the most renowned and expressive grape varieties of Kakheti and arguably of all Georgia. A familiar and much loved amber colour shines in the glass. The nose reveals dried fruit, apricot and figs, accompanied by a gentle touch of spice. A sense of breadth and presence is already perceptible in the aromatic profile.

On the palate the wine feels wide and muscular, multi layered in structure, with tannin, body and depth. Complexity and inner tension come together in a powerful overall expression. Everything that defines and makes Rkatsiteli so admired is present here — a layered interpretation of Kakheti in all its beauty.

Rkatsiteli is the most widely planted white grape variety in Georgia, known for its breadth, aromatic depth and structural expression.
6 months of skin contact, followed by further ageing in Qvevri.
