Character & Style

A ruby red Vernatsch with clear and open fruit expression. On the nose, ripe cherry and red berries define the aromatic profile. On the palate the wine is delicate and harmonious, with soft texture and gentle tannins. The structure remains light and balanced, with a fresh and lively finish. FraSchiaTa represents the kind of red Vernatsch that has recently regained confidence through the craftsmanship of dedicated winemakers. Light and berry driven, yet with its own distinct voice.

Origin & Vinification

The grapes come from the Tappeinerweg site in Merano at 350 meters above sea level. Fermentation takes place in open tonneaux, followed by 10 months of ageing in used tonneaux.
