Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Sauvignon Blanc

RiedingerhofSouth Tyrol / Italy

Character & Style

On the nose, clear citrus notes are accompanied by a subtle hint of rhubarb and elderflower. The palate shows touches of apricot and lightly dried fruit, supported by a juicy, mineral structure. A light, delicate acidity remains present in the finish. A Sauvignon Blanc that balances freshness and maturity in quiet harmony.

Origin & Vinification

The grapes come from two sites around Merano – Winkelweg (400 m) and Hofstelle (480 m). After three days of skin fermentation, the wine is aged 70% in stainless steel and 30% in old tonneaux. It then rests for eleven months in bottle.
