La Ma shows a refined and precise aromatic profile with notes of jasmine, delicate floral and slightly wildflower nuances, alongside fresh citrus tones. On the palate it is juicy and clearly structured, at the same time broad and full-bodied, with a subtle bitter fruit character and good depth. A lively, well-integrated acidity supports the structure. The finish is lightly saline, textured and long. A Manzoni Bianco with depth and distinctive presence.
The grapes come from Labers near Merano at 600 meters above sea level. Manzoni Bianco is a crossing of Riesling and Weißburgunder, created in 1933 by Prof. Luigi Manzoni at the School of Viticulture in Conegliano. The wine is fermented in ceramic clay amphora and aged for 18 months in used oak casks (1000 l) before bottling.
