Marani Ruispiri is a winery located in the village of Ruispiri, near Telavi, the administrative centre of Kakheti.

Georgiy Aladashvili is the founder, driving force, and winemaker behind the project. After moving to Switzerland during the difficult years of the 1990s, he returned in 2016 as a young winemaker — with practical experience and a clear vision for the future of the winery.

Today, the estate covers around five hectares of vineyards with twelve grape varieties, including Mtsvane, Rkatsiteli, Kisi, Khikhvi, and Saperavi, as well as rarer indigenous grapes. Production remains deliberately small, at around 5,000 bottles per year.

In the vineyard, Georgiy follows biodynamic principles. In the cellar — exclusively Qvevri and long skin maceration.

Indigenous grape varieties, biodynamic vineyard practices, and a precise, restrained approach in the Marani are all reflected in the wines of Ruispiri, shaping their structure, depth, and character.
