Alessandro Pialli comes from the Colli Berici, a quiet hilly landscape south of Vicenza.
A third-generation winemaker, he farms around 4.5 hectares of vines, centred on local varieties such as Garganega and Tai Rosso, which have been at home here for centuries.
Production remains intentionally small, with no more than 20,000 bottles per year. After studying oenology, he decided to follow his own path: organic farming, a minimum impact approach, and a clear trust in the vintage.
In the cellar, he brings together steel, wood and amphora- it is here that Ombre d’Ambra is born. Part of the white wines remains on the skins, evolving into precise, structured orange wines with a fine texture.
Tai Rosso is partly harvested late. This results in Gregorio- a wine that's full-bodied and well-structured, with a ripe flavour that remains precise.
Everything is done with a calm, precise hand –
not overly expressive, but with inner tension.
