Our Story:
In 2014, Anapea is a family business with a unique mission to restore the household activity, lifestyle, viticulture tradition, winemaking techniques, and culture of the 19th century Kakheti region. In 2013, our family bought an abandoned and uncultivated land in Kvareli, which was under the Soviet public ownership in the 20th century and, therefore, was found completely exhausted and eroded. We started revitalizing the land to build a micro eco-system, an ancient Kakhetian village with its farm economy, vineyards, and wine cellars. This is how the story began. 

Our wine:
We produce a variety of low-intervention natural wines made of some of the most prominent Georgian grape varieties.These include, but are not limited to, Khikhvi, Pink Rkatsiteli,Rkatsiteli,Saperavi, Kisi, Mtsivivani and Mtsvane. Anapea Village is also a home to the 33 rarest/lostgrape sorts indigenous to Georgia/Kakheti. This list includes antique grapes such as Buera, Ikalto’s Red, Jghia, Simonaseuli, Ingilouriand many more
