What do poker and wine have in common? More than you'd think. Both are about reading potential: in the hand you've been dealt, or in the glass that's just been poured. Call, check or raise? Patience helps. So does experience. And sometimes it's simply a gut feeling.

For one night, a real poker pro with international tournament experience joins us at the table. He'll walk you through the rules, the tactics and what actually matters when the chips are down (poker face optional). We take care of the other half of the game: the wine. No experience needed, just an appetite for an evening of cards and good bottles.

We play, we taste, and we find out whether a good nose at the table helps with wine. Or the other way round.
